Orders open on the first of each month at 10 am ET. A set number of slots are released on our website. Simply head to the “shop” page and add a Little Felted Friend to the cart. When those slots are full, they are closed until the the following month (they are typically booked within minutes, so I recommend logging on right at 10).

Each Little Felted Friend is carefully handcrafted, with many hours dedicated to creating each piece. Due to the intricate nature of the work, we accept a limited number of custom orders each month. The typical turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks, though this can vary depending on demand. Your order might be completed sooner, or it could take a bit longer. We appreciate your patience as we create your one-of-a-kind Little Felted Friend!

Each custom Little Felted Friend sits at approximately 3 inches tall, though the exact size may vary depending on the breed and scale of your pet. These petite sculptures are made from 100% humanely harvested New Zealand Corriedale wool blends. The eyes are crafted from glass and hand-painted to match your pet's unique features. Plus, each Little Felted Friend has a tiny heart felted within, adding an extra touch of love to your special piece.

We provide a Glass Display Dome with each custom Little Felted Friend. The mini canvas also fits perfectly within the dome—it can be purchased separately here.

LFF’s are made with a needle felting technique—this involves stabbing wool roving until it mats into a solid form. As you can imagine, this takes quite a while! Depending on the markings and coat length of the pet, each LFF can take up to 4 hours to make. Process videos are oftentimes posted on Instagram.

These pictures are needed (the more pictures, the better!): front, right side, left side, behind, tail, and a face shot that you think highlights their expression the best! Videos welcomed. 

No—a lot of variables go into each pet, which in turn can affect processing time. The artist has a right to delay or cancel your order at any time.
